Tuam's reggae-rockers reunite for tribute night

TUAM’S very own reggae-rock band that were synonymous with the town in the 1980s are reuniting this weekend in a tribute and fundraising gig in honour of former band member Der Holian.
Bass player Der was an original member of Too Much for The Whiteman and passed away after a long battle with illness in the summer of 2015.
This Saturday night (April 29) the band will reunite in The Brogue, Tuam and gather with friends and special guests from the world of music to celebrate Der’s life and love of music in a special fundraising gig for Galway Hospice.
Too Much For The Whiteman, with lead singer Mouse McHugh, came to national attention in 1988 with their hit single 'Put Your Mind at Ease’.
