FROM book lovers to bargainistas, there’s something for everyone at the NCBI (National Council for the Blind of Ireland) Shop in Mountbellew.
Inside the bright and bustling outlet, you can find anything from a pop art portrait of Marilyn Monroe to a set of John Grisham thrillers.
The Mountbellew shop does brisk business, thanks to the renewed popularity of vintage items and the need to bag a bargain in recessionary times. Along with more than 60 other outlets nationwide, it provides an invaluable source of funds for the NCBI’s many services. These range from independent living supports to mobility training.
