Tuam’s DIY Arts Festival

TUAM Arts Festival is strictly a Do It Yourself job this year, because Earwig! Arts Group, who organise it, have got no local authority grant aid this year.
Our photo shows Earwig! Director Midie Corcoran up a ladder on the Town Hall on Saturday placing two giant earwigs on the hallowed walls.
Beneath him were the young artists of the future colouring the pavement in the Art Up Your Street project, which preceded the performance aspect of the festival.
