Improvement in condition of Tuam assault victim

THERE has been a slight improvement in the condition of 22-year-old Shane Grogan who was seriously injured in an assault in Tuam in the early hours of Sunday week (August 5).
Shane was taken off sedation medication earlier this week and he remains in a comfortable and stable condition in the intensive care unit (ICU) of Beaumont Hospital, Dublin.
